Reports to: Director Finance and Administration
Purpose of the Role
To provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff while managing inquiries, appointments, and records to support the smooth operation of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet and direct patients, visitors, and clients in a courteous manner.
· Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly.
· Register patients, update records, and schedule appointments.
· Verify insurance details and assist with billing/payment processes.
· Maintain an organized reception area and handle front-office documentation.
· Collect payments, issue receipts, and keep accurate records.
· Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
· Provide clerical support to clinical and administrative teams as required.
Qualifications & Experience
· Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Office Management, or equivalent.
· At least 2 years’ front-office/customer service experience (healthcare preferred).
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet use, and Social Media applications is required.
· Fluency in local Ugandan language(s) is an added advantage
